During the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina (2005) legendary producer Bob Ezrin (l) and U2’s The Edge led a team of Music Rising team members through the 9th Ward in New Orleans. Residents of that area spoke with the team giving them first-hand stories of survival and hope. The visit to the 9th Ward and the witnessing of pure devastation gave hope to Music Rising to help build and restore the spirit of music in the legendary city.
