2006 – Preparing for the re-opening of the Louisianna Superdome after the horrific Hurricane Katrina disaster. U2 and Green Day performed “The Saints Are Coming” in a remarkable show of celebration for the city of New Orleans and as the half-time show for when the New Orleans Saints first played in the Superdome after the hurricane. Music Rising was there and both legendary bands performed to a sold out stadium. Here you see the performers in the studio recording the single right after the performance.

The legendary artists supported the city and its musicians with the founding of Music Rising, a disaster relief fund for music.
